Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what data we collect and what we do with it.

Last updated: January 2025

What We Collect

We collect minimal data to keep the site running. We use basic server logs (IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp) that are automatically generated whenever you visit any website. These are stored for up to 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes only.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any keystrokes you make while using the keyboard tester. The key-detection feature runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No keystroke data is ever sent to our servers.

Cookies

This site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. We may use a single session cookie to remember your language preference. No third-party cookies are set.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand general traffic patterns (page views, country-level location, browser type). This data is aggregated and anonymous — it cannot be used to identify you personally.

Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to request any data we hold about you, and to request its deletion. Since we collect very little data and nothing tied to your identity, there is typically nothing to share. Contact us if you have concerns.

Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
